ESRC Writing Competition ‘Better Lives’ Deadline

Deadline: Friday 7 December 2018

This year’s ESRC Writing Competition ‘Better Lives’, in partnership with SAGE Publishing, aims to encourage and reward outstanding written communication by ESRC-funded students. The judges will be looking for an original article of no more than 800 words, written at a level that an interested member of the public could understand, while conveying the importance of the research topic.

The winner will receive a cash prize of £1,000, and two runners up will be awarded prizes of £500 each.  Entries are invited from ESRC-funded students (who are in receipt of funding on 7 December 2018). Entries must be received by 4pm on the day of the deadline.

Full information about the competition, including entry terms and conditions can be found on the ESRC website.
