If you are an ESRC Wales DTP funded student, this is an opportunity to work on a high profile project in the National Assembly for Wales. Up to 2 internships are available, and if you are successful in applying, you will be granted a paid extension to your PhD equal to the length of the internship (up to 3 months, commencing in January 2019 or soon after by negotiation).

The purpose is to support the work of the Commission as it leads a project to explore how powers devolved by the Wales Act 2017 over the Assembly’s electoral and internal arrangements might be used to make the legislature more effective, accessible and diverse.  The internships are based in Cardiff Bay but there is the option of remote working, by negotiation.

Os ydych chi’n fyfyriwr a ariennir gan DTP ESRC Cymru, dyma gyfle i weithio ar brosiect o bwys yng Nghynulliad Cenedlaethol Cymru. Mae hyd at ddau interniaeth ar gael. Os bydd eich cais yn llwyddiannus, cewch estyniad cyflogedig i’ch efrydiaeth PhD sy’n cyfateb i hyd yr interniaeth (hyd at 3 mis, gan ddechrau ym mis Ionawr 2019 neu yn fuan wedyn, ar ôl trafod).

Y pwrpas yw cefnogi gwaith y Comisiwn wrth iddo arwain prosiect i edrych ar sut y gellid defnyddio pwerau a ddatganolwyd gan Ddeddf Cymru 2017 dros drefniadau etholiadol a mewnol y Cynulliad i wneud y ddeddfwrfa yn fwy effeithiol, hygyrch ac amrywiol. Mae’r interniaethau wedi’u lleoli ym Mae Caerdydd ond mae modd trafod y posibilrwydd o weithio o bell.
