Place: Glamorgan Building, Cardiff University, Cardiff.

This one-day media training session will seek to build confidence in communicating with the media, develop the strategies to be successful and give participants the opportunity to build and test their skills in realistic interview simulations.  The workshop is run by leading media trainers Inside Edge.  Inside Edge have a lot of experience of working with researchers, and they are familiar with the challenges academics face in communicating often complex subjects.

The group size for this workshop is strictly limited to 10.  We are inviting applications from ESRC Wales DTP studentship holders who are beyond the half-way point of the Doctoral part of their studentship.  Those whose studentship support has finished, but who are awaiting examination or are within an examination process, are also eligible to apply.
