The course will cover both the theory and practice of poverty research and will provide a broad based training concerning recent methodological developments in the UK and Internationally. It will show how to develop a poverty survey using both qualitative and quantitative methods and analyse the results. It will cover how qualitative and quantitative methods can be integrated to develop a comprehensive and effective research programme to achieve a maximum impact.
The course is free to attend and there is an £80 bursary available to PGR students to help with the costs of travel and accommodation.
