Wales DTP Studentships 2017

The newly announced ESRC Wales Doctoral Training Partnership will build upon the track record of our current Doctoral Training Centre. The new partnership of six institutions (Aberystwyth University, Bangor University, Cardiff University, Cardiff Metropolitan University, Gloucestershire University and Swansea University) will offer studentships across 20 pathways.

Currently advertised studentships:

The DTP has also been allocated a further three fully-funded studentships for doctoral projects aligned with the Westminster government’s Industrial Strategy.  These are available as either 3 or 4 year full-time awards (or part-time equivalent), and can be located in any of the twenty pathways in the DTP. Pathway conveners are likely to require applications by 2 June 2017.

All studentships had a common deadline for applications of 1 February 2017 and (besides for those re-advertised above) applications are now closed.

The following PhDs are advertised with collaborative awards: they have an in-principle studentship already attached, fully funded by the ESRC Wales DTP and our partners.

These PhDs are advertised with the possibility of being awarded a fully-funded ESRC Wales DTP general studentship:
