5:30 PM - 6:30 PM, Monday 9 September 2013

Place: Aberconway Building, Cardiff University, Cardiff.

This workshop is aimed at doctoral and early career researchers and is part of the ERU 2013 conference. Publication is still the one of the most important indicators of academic success and one of the most difficult hurdles for new researchers.

Professor Mike Lounsbury is Associate Dean for Research at the University of Alberta, and editor of Research in the Sociology of Organizations series. He will share his experience as an editorial board member of a range of journals. He will give suggestions and tips on how to get published in academic journals from the perspective of someone who makes editorial decisions regularly.
