The British Library is now accepting applications for PhD research placements in 2020-21. A wide range of projects are offered from a variety of areas across the Library for 3 months or part-time equivalent, to be undertaken anytime from May 2021 and before March 2022. Projects can be undertaken with the option of partial or full remote working.

It is essential that applicants obtain the support of their PhD supervisor in advance. The British Library is not able to provide funding to placement students, therefore if you are a Wales DTP student wishing to apply you should contact the Wales DTP (enquiries@walesdtp.ac.uk) initially to discuss the possibility of funding.
