This live online session looks at the types of career opportunities available to social science researchers post-PhD.  Although many PhD students opt for careers in higher education, there are plenty of other options for pursuing research outside of academia.  During this session, you will hear from ESRC Wales DTP alumni about their own career paths and the research skills which led them to where they are today.  You will also hear from a Careers Adviser on options to consider within the social sciences beyond academia.  There will be an opportunity to put questions to the panel, followed by a dedicated session offering the chance to discuss your career training needs and future Wales DTP support.

The event is free of charge and is open to all Wales DTP funded students.
